I can build an AI assistant channel for GA4, but I need your data first, and I will not change your property's default without your say so.
- Source list (required). From Traffic acquisition, the session source and sessions for one date range, as a pasted table. Why: I test the channel rule against your real sources so it does not catch the wrong ones (for example, Google's help page example regex starts with '^.*ai', which also matches any source containing those letters).
- Which assistants count (required), in your words, for example ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Claude.
- Property info (required): standard or 360, and how many custom channel groups you already have. Google's help page sets a per property limit (2 custom groups on standard, 5 on 360, in addition to the predefined group), so I need to know if there is room.
About "set it as our default": making a custom group the property default would change how every channel report reads. The exact steps and effects of that switch are not in my Platform facts, so I will not describe or do it; it stays a separate step that waits for your explicit approval, after you have seen the new channel working.
